1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Mock Abhyas ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Mock Abhyas mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.

2. Eligibility

To use Mock Abhyas, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. Users between 13–18 years should obtain parental consent.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be barred from receiving services under applicable law.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access personalized features, you must create an account. You can register using your email address or Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password for your account.
• Not share your login credentials with any third party.
• Notify us immediately at support@mockabhyas.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate rankings, leaderboards, or gain unfair advantages is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

3.4 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

4. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, Mock Abhyas grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and use the app for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation purposes.
• Download the app on devices you own or control.
• Access and practice mock tests, view current affairs, and use all features made available to you.
• Share your scores and performance results on social media for personal use.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following:

• Academic dishonesty: Sharing, distributing, or publishing test questions, answers, or any content from our platform without permission.
• Unauthorized access: Attempting to access systems, databases, or other users' accounts without authorization.
• Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any part of the app.
• Data scraping: Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content or data from the app.
• Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate rankings, leaderboards, or performance data through artificial means.
• Commercial use: Using our content for commercial purposes, coaching classes, or any revenue-generating activities without prior written permission.
• Harmful conduct: Uploading malicious code, viruses, or any software that could harm our systems or other users.
• Impersonation: Impersonating any person, organization, or Mock Abhyas team member.
• Abusive behavior: Harassing, threatening, or engaging in abusive behavior toward any user or team member.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content on Mock Abhyas — including but not limited to mock tests, questions, explanations, current affairs, graphics, text, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Mock Abhyas and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

6.2 Exam Content Disclaimer

Our mock test questions are created for practice and preparation purposes. They are not official exam papers from any government body. Reference to exam names (UPSC, SSC, etc.) is for informational purposes only. Mock Abhyas is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government examination authority.

6.3 Feedback & Suggestions

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about our service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and implement those ideas without any obligation or compensation to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mock Abhyas is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• Any specific results will be achieved by using our service (exam success depends on individual preparation efforts).
• All content is 100% accurate or up-to-date at all times.
• The service will be compatible with all devices or operating systems.

We make no guarantee that using Mock Abhyas will result in passing any examination. Exam results depend entirely on the individual user's preparation, effort, and circumstances.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mock Abhyas and its team shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of data, profit, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
• Service interruptions, bugs, or technical errors.
• Any decisions made in reliance on information provided by the app.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Account Termination

By You

You may stop using Mock Abhyas and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have:

• Violated any of these Terms.
• Engaged in prohibited activities listed in Section 5.
• Provided false or misleading information during registration.
• Engaged in behavior harmful to other users or to Mock Abhyas.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Mock Abhyas shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
